Laura Kraft - Exhibits for the museum and more

Laura Welch (Kraft)

Content Designer +

Whitefish, Montana

Raised in a historic camp in the beautiful Adirondack mountains of New York, I have always had a passion for history, design, and informal education.

I graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the State University of New York at Geneseo and again in 2012 with a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the George Washington University.

As a museum professional, I have a strong background and expertise in content design, copywriting and editing, interpretive displays, graphic design, websites, and information and material management.

Since 2012, I have made my home in the Rocky Mountains.  Every day the unique communities, histories, and landscapes of the region provide me with inspiration for my projects and services.

Helping Hands

Stronger together: Inclusion & Equity

I am committed to cultivating and preserving a culture of inclusion across color, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, identity, and experience.

With every client relationship and project, I celebrate and respect individual differences, knowledge, and self-expression. Such diversity enriches our society, as well as my own content design and storytelling.

To provide informed, authentic leadership for equality, I strive to:

  • See diversity, inclusion, and equity as critical to ensure the well-being of my business, clients, and other stakeholders.

  • Acknowledge and dismantle any inequities within my policies, systems, and services.

  • Lead with respect and tolerance.

  • Advocate for public and private-sector policy that promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity.

  • Challenge systems and policies that create inequity, oppression, and disparity.
